Portfolio Manager – Australian Equities

  • Equity participation
  • Retirement product
  • Income & return focused

My client is a high growth start up fund in fund accumulation stage with already some wins on the retail and institutional side. This fund manager is linked with a family office group which is a good cornerstone backer for this product. The fund focuses on achieving a higher yield, higher return and lower risk than the ASX300. The fund is ramping up growth and keen to align this person at the start via giving equity.
Working with the CIO, this is a flat structure team where everyone is a generalist where certain stocks will move onto the team’s radar after meeting certain metrics that make them appealing. The fund has a value bias but can be opportunistic depending on views. This is a collegiate team that has vigorous internal debate.
The fund is looking to hire someone from a known Australian equities fund, ideally from a highly visible brand likely with 10+ years of experience. There is no preference on sector experience.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
