Global Equities – Infrastructure/REITs

• Global equities income – Infrastructure/REIT focused
• Leading global fund manager
• Short term path to managing a discretionary portfolio as Portfolio Manager

This fund manager has a wide range of fund products and based on net flows expects to strongly grow its current $8bn FUM in the short to medium term and beyond. It is growing its Australian presence and growing its global income fund. The global income fund has both credit and equities within the fund and has an absolute return target. This role will be focused on equities and will likely run the equities part of this fund in the short term, with potential for pure equities income products to be developed over time.
Reporting to the deputy CIO, your role will be to manage the existing income equities book (circa $700m) which is more locally focused. You will also engage in research to seek out and assess other global ideas focused mostly within infrastructure and REITs with potential for other sectors that show compelling characteristics. You will assist the marketing of the fund within Australia and assist the wider (Credit) team to assess ideas.

We are looking for a candidate who is focused on infrastructure or REITS either on the buy or sell side. There is less interest in very broadly focused candidates who perhaps also cover infrastructure or REITS as part of a larger portfolio or who have done this at some stage in the past. Candidates will likely have 10+ years of experience.
You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
