This leading international bank with increasing global presence both in Australia and regionally is currently seeking a Senior Analyst / Associate to sit within the Global Trade Finance department.

Reporting the Head of Trade, you will be responsible for supporting origination and ongoing management of an existing portfolio of trade related transactions with both corporate and financial institution clients. The team in being responsible for all aspects of origination relating to trade finance, identifying potential clients that require LC advice, supporting customers with import, export & trade finance solutions and acts as the subject matter experts both internally and externally for the bank. This role is crucial for the continuing success and growth of the trade finance business in Australia and APAC.

You will be tertiary qualified with a Business, Accounting or Finance related degree and be an experienced trade finance professional with ideally 3-7 years’ relevant experience within a local institutional, or global investment bank and an exceptional ability to establish and develop new relationships in order to develop and grow out the trade finance portfolio. Furthermore you will have highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills.

The successful candidate will likely have gained ~5-10 years’ experience within investment banking, corporate finance or general investing experience and bring a familiarity around deal structuring, capital raisings and managing advisers.
