Before entering recruitment, Patrick spent 8 years in corporate banking, property and structured finance with Citibank and Bank of Scotland Group.

Patrick spent 3 years with Michael Page International building their Front Office Banking team, focusing on the disciplines below. He then joined JMES in 2000 to develop the Debt Practice.

Michael manages the JMES Melbourne team.

Prior to entering the recruitment industry, Michael spent twenty years in financial markets managing trading and sales desks in both the Australian and International markets with HSBC, UBS and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

He then entered executive recruitment with Morgan & Banks recruiting at a Senior Management level within the Financial Services industry.

Michael joined JMES in 2003 to assist in establishing the Melbourne office.

Mischa holds a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology, Sydney majoring in Accounting and Finance.

He started his corporate career with KPMG in 2002 before moving into recruitment and search in 2007. Firstly with a global firm before starting with JMES in 2011.

Ali holds a Master of Arts (English Literature) from University of Aberdeen, UK.

Ali spent 7 years working with Hays in their Banking and Financial Services team in both the UK and Sydney. Beginning her recruitment career in the UK, Ali specialised in Investment Management across a variety of domestic and international firms before making the move to Australia. Over the past 4 years in Sydney, Ali headed up Hays’ NSW Banking and Insurance division, and recruited across a variety of disciplines including Corporate & Investment Banking and Wealth Management.She joined JMES in 2012.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science (Diagnostic Radiography) from University of Exeter, UK.

Rob spent over a year and a half working at Robert Walters in the Banking & Finance team, where he was in charge of recruiting in the debt lending/credit space; covering a broad range of disciplines, such as Corporate, FI, Structured, Project and Leveraged Finance. Rob has worked very closely with both the domestic and international banks in Sydney. Prior to recruitment, Rob was working in London in Real Estate and relocated to Australia in 2014. Rob joined JMES in February 2017.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.

Daniel has been in the recruitment and search industry since 2013 starting with the recruitment agency Michael Page managing one of their finance and accounting teams. Daniel specialised in placing finance professionals across commerce, industry, Government and Not-for-Profit. Prior to this, he began his career with an intellectual property law firm upon completion of his tertiary qualification. Daniel joined JMES in 2017.

Adam joins JMES after several years with Rapha, a leading UK premium clothing brand, where he was most recently their General Manager & Head of Sales and Marketing for Australia & New Zealand.

Prior to joining Rapha to establish their business across Asia, Adam spent over a decade in the executive search industry specialising in senior financial services appointments and was a partner for a Global Executive search firm. He was a member of the firm’s Global Financial Market Practice and leader of the Capital Markets and Alternative Investments Sector for Japan.

Adam has been based in the key financial centres of London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney - he effectively leverages this broad geographic experience and understanding in the delivery of results to his clients.

Danielle possesses over 15 years experience working as a specialist recruitment and search consultant. Danielle’s career has had a predominant focus within the Financial Services industry with the past 10 years working across Funds and Wealth Management. Having recently come from running her own consultancy firm, Danielle brings diverse expertise across a multitude of disciplines.

Prior to running her own consultancy firm, Danielle worked within an agency environment where she gained many years of experience across the following role functions:

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Communications (Honours) from the University of Western Sydney and a Master of Applied Science in Information Management from Charles Sturt University

She began her research career with a boutique specialist engineering search firm in Sydney where she spent six years before moving into a generalist research role with executive search firm Egon Zehnder International in Sydney. From Egon Zehnder, Samantha then spent two years as a Senior Researcher with Scambler MacGregor – a boutique search firm specialising in financial services. Samantha joined the JMES Sydney office in 2012.

Nissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Human Resource Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.

Prior to JMES, she worked for Employers Mutual for two years. Nissa joined JMES in 2011 and is a part of our research team.
