Leading international bank with increasing presence both in Australia and Asia Pacific is currently seeking an AVP/VP to sit within the Global Trade & Commodity Finance department.  This role is responsible for the origination and ongoing management of an existing portfolio of trade related transactions with both corporate and financial institution clients and is crucial for the continuing success and growth of the trade finance business in Australia.  The AVP/VP will manage all aspects of international settlements including letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees & trade & commodity finance business.

You will be tertiary qualified with a business, accounting or finance related degree and be an experienced trade finance professional with 4 - 10 years’ relevant experience within a local institutional bank or global investment bank and an exceptional ability to establish and develop new relationships in order to develop and grow the trade finance portfolio.  

Along with the Head of Trade Finance, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales relating to trade finance, identifying potential clients that require import, export & trade finance solutions and acting as the subject matter expert both internally and externally for the bank.  Furthermore you will have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills as you take on an exciting lead role in the continued growth of the business.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
