Due to this movement, we are looking to hire a Corporate Development Executive to join their team based in Sydney.
This role will see an experienced M&A/Corporate Development professional drive a range of growth activities and strategic initiatives, with key responsibilities being:
• Build, nurture & continually evaluate a pipeline of relevant growth opportunities for the Group
• Lead & coordinate transaction, due diligence & commercial negotiation activity across acquisitions, divestments & a range of strategic projects across the firm’s various growth areas
• Develop & maintain relationships with key internal & external clients & advisors
• Contribute to the leadership & development of the broader team
The ideal candidate will likely have 10+ years’ experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, direct investing or corporate development with a firm that has an active growth mandate. This candidate will bring excellent technical skills, a genuine commercial understanding about what drives value in a business and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
