Great opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a well-established and growing organisation in Australia, to assist in deal origination and execution of project finance transactions including taking responsibility for credit submission and approval, legal documentation and financial modelling. You will be responsible for overseeing due diligence work streams (technical, legal, tax and accounting and insurance) and various aspects of financial modelling. You will also take a key role in assisting in the preparation of marketing material and undertaking research as requested.
The successful candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business, Law or Finance and ideally post graduate qualifications with 2-5 years’ experience in corporate/institutional banking or project finance. Candidates with structured or asset finance experience, or from a rating or advisory background will also be considered. You will also have strong analytical skills - both qualitative and quantitative – along with well-developed credit analysis skills.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work accurately under tight timeframes is essential.
