About the Opportunity
Vice President, Project Finance

• Origination & Execution

• Broad Project Finance sector exposure – focus on Energy & Renewables

• Growing International Bank with strong transaction pipeline

Great opportunity for a Vice President to join an established and growing International Bank in Australia to assist in the deal origination and execution of project finance transactions including taking responsibility for credit submission & approval, legal documentation and commercial negotiations with sponsors. You will be responsible for overseeing due diligence work streams (technical, legal, tax and accounting and insurance) and financial modelling prepare/review financial models and run sensitivities. You will also take a key role in assisting in preparing marketing material and undertaking research as requested; gaining full end to end transaction exposure from day one. The bank has a large and growing focus on emerging energy technologies, energy transition and renewable energy deals across Australia, Asia and into Europe.

As a Vice President in the team you will report directly into the Head of Project Finance.  Along with the Head of PF, you will be responsible for leading and managing the lean, efficient PF team in Australia - so someone who is aspirational and able to help develop the skills of juniors would be advantageous. The team environment is extremely collaborative and will work closely with established and highly regarded coverage teams here and overseas.

The successful candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business/Law/Finance and ideally post graduate qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate/institutional banking or project finance – infrastructure, PPP, energy sector experience preferred but would also consider someone with broader PF sector experience. You will also have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and well-developed credit analysis skills. A proven track record managing and leading deal teams and a strong work ethic is essential.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
