An exciting opportunity has been created with this leading International Bank to join their highly experienced Transactional Banking team, working closely with Relationship Managers and responsible for attracting deposits and selling liquidity products to Corporate and FI clients in Sydney. The bank has proven tenure, capability and track record across Corporate Finance, Lending, Structured Finance and Global & Capital Markets - locally, regionally and globally.

Reporting to the Head of Structured Trade Solutions - as Vice President you will be responsible for origination and expanding a client portfolio for both corporate and FI clients, focusing on transaction banking products, including large deposits and cash management. You will be part of a broader client coverage team working with product specialists in Trade Solutions, Commodity Finance, Working Capital Solutions and Transaction Banking. Working closely with client RMs you will assist in optimising client management & marketing, including pitching alongside the RMs as a specialist on Deposits, Transaction Banking and Trade Finance solutions.

Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce, Economics or similar, it is expected that you will have at least 5-7+ years background and experience in Transaction Banking products and marketing/sales, documenting Trade Finance and working capital products and services, overlayed with an excellent understanding of Deposit & Liquidity Products placement and processing.

You will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills, excellent negotiation skills, as well as good awareness of cultural diversity and experience in developing and managing key stakeholder relationships.
