About the Opportunity
Analyst/Associate, Project Finance

• Origination/Execution

• Broad Project Finance sector exposure including Infra/PPPs & Renewable Energy

• Growing International Bank with strong deal pipeline

Great opportunity for an Analyst/Associate to join a well-established and growing International Bank in Sydney to assist in deal origination and execution of project finance transactions, including taking responsibility for credit submission & approval, legal documentation and commercial negotiations with sponsors. You will be responsible for overseeing due diligence work streams (technical, legal, tax and accounting and insurance), prepare/review financial models and running sensitivities.

You will also take a key role in assisting in preparing marketing material and undertaking research as requested. Gain exposure across the full transaction lifecycle, from origination to execution, through to financial close. The project finance team is dynamic and offers excellent career growth, broad sector exposure and exponential learning potential.

The successful candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Finance or similar with 2-5 years’ experience in corporate/institutional banking or project finance. Infrastructure, PPP and/or energy sector experience preferred but would also consider those with institutional, structured or asset finance, or someone from a rating or advisory background. You will also have strong analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, along with well-developed credit analysis skills.

A strong work ethic with high quality, accurate professional output and the ability to work under tight timeframes is essential.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
