We have an exciting opportunity with a leading International Bank in their Real Estate Team in Sydney. As the Vice President you will be responsible for supporting the team leader in building and maintaining a broad portfolio of real estate clients, across REITS, office, industrial and retail sub-sectors, whilst developing customer franchise and market position in Australia.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will be:
• Ability to work independently to drive end to end execution of financing transactions
• Identify credit, compliance & execution issues in relation to deal origination & relationship management
• Completing all supervision reviews & customer monitoring requirements on time
• Management & growth of client portfolio, proactively identifying growth opportunity & monitoring market trends/risks/opportunities
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders across credit, product, mid & back-office team to deliver seamless client experience
The successful candidate will bring the following:
• 6-12 years of institutional banking experience, focused on real estate financing, ideally with a track record of origination & execution
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant banking & finance experience
• Prior knowledge of Australian Real Estate industry
• Pro-active, resourceful & result-oriented mindset & being comfortable in a challenging & dynamic global working environment
• Business acumen, interpersonal & communication skills
• Sound credit & financial analytical skills
