About the Opportunity
Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Our client is a leading independent corporate advisory firm operating across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. They provide expert M&A, corporate finance, valuation and strategic advisory across a wide range of industries, notably renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, financial sponsors, industrials and healthcare and have a highly successful transaction track record. Working within this long-established independent firm will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain leading industry experience within a high calibre team where there is local decision making capability and a focus on driving the performance of the domestic business.

They are currently looking for an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate to join their growing team in Sydney. This individual will work alongside a collegiate team and in support of senior bankers.  You will help to execute transactions across the full lifecycle and will enjoy having exposure to a broad range of sectors. The role will also support the team across due diligence, financial modelling & valuation, client interaction and deal execution.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Between 2-5 years of M&A/Corporate Finance experience from an investment bank, corporate advisory firm or big 4 CA firm

• Experience across various sectors (Renewable Energy, Infrastructure & Natural Resources is a bonus but not essential)

• Strong financial modelling & financial analysis experience

• Strong integrity & work ethic

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related disciplines
