Our client is a successful founder-led private equity investment firm with a focus on investing in small, well-established businesses looking for a succession exit plan and are now seeking to hire an Investment Analyst based in Melbourne.
The role will report to the Founding Partners and be an integral part of the team.
This is no ordinary analyst role and can be best described as a real-life traineeship which requires an equal blend of smarts and technical capability, as it does with an entrepreneurial mindset, a roll up the sleeves attitude and the curiosity to get to know all the pieces of the puzzle from every aspect including operation, integration, upgrading of archaic systems to a first class technological financial and operational platform.
As their business plans continue to evolve this is role which is not limited by tenure or title and can also quickly evolve into a GM position within one of the portfolio companies. The opportunity to invest in the businesses and have skin in the game is welcomed and no doubt ensures alignment within the business strategy and investment thesis.
You will have likely gained corporate finance experience within an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, CA firm. buy-side investing or management consulting.
