Great opportunity for a Vice President to join an established bank in Australia to assist in the deal origination and execution of project finance transactions including taking responsibility for credit submission and approval, legal documentation and commercial negotiations. You will be responsible for overseeing due diligence work streams (technical, legal, tax and accounting and insurance) and financial modelling. You will also take a key role in assisting in preparing marketing material and undertaking research as requested; gaining full end to end transaction exposure from day one.
As a Vice President in the team you will report directly into the Head of Project Finance and will help to lead and manage the project finance team in a highly collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business/Law/Finance and ideally post graduate qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate/institutional banking or project finance – infrastructure, PPP, energy/resources sector experience preferred but would also consider someone with broader PF sector experience. You will also have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and well-developed credit analysis skills. A proven track record managing and leading deal teams is essential.
