JMES is working with a highly regarded Private Equity Fund as they seek to add 2 key executives to their Investment team. These are newly created roles and can either be at the Analyst or Associate level. The fund continues to be highly active across deployment, exits and portfolio work giving the team a genuine opportunity to build exposure across the full lifecycle of Private Equity investing. The leadership team remain hugely focused on developing their team and providing them with a platform to build a long term career in the industry and so represents a top quality environment for those looking to start their investment career.

With deep operational expertise and a commitment to partner closely with their portfolio companies over the journey, the Fund plays an active role in the development of the companies’ performance and culture and seeks to drive enhanced capabilities that will allow them to realise their full potential.

As an Analyst / Associate you will work across the full lifecycle of Private Equity investing including sourcing and acquiring investment opportunities, working with portfolio companies to ensure delivery of strategic and operational transformation and working with the team to continue to drive performance of the Fund, ensuring positive commercial and cultural outcomes. Successful applicants will likely have between 2 and 5 years’ work experience gained from Private Equity, transactional corporate finance (either in an investment bank, independent advisory firm or top tier CA firm) or from management consulting and may also have gained some experience in accounting to complement your other experience. You will have a strong academic track record and will be able to display a high level of curiosity as a key personal characteristic. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse but like-minded group of individuals.
