This successful boutique private capital investment manager and developer pride themselves on their commercial approach with a complementary investment, development and construction track record. They offer fast and flexible commercial real estate debt solutions as an alternative to mainstream banks.
As a key senior hire, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside the leadership team in developing the firm’s distribution and access to the commercial real estate debt market - part of a growing business, driving and managing the firm’s overall lending portfolio and delivering alternative debt solutions to clients across Australia. You will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and retaining and managing existing relationships. In addition to this, a key aspect of the role will to be conduct credit analysis and underwriting, as well as taking the lead on structuring and negotiation of loan terms in alignment to the firm’s investment criteria.
You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications, CFA highly regarded, with 8+ years’ experience gained in a bank or financial institution with a proven track record in business development and origination and an advanced knowledge in commercial real estate, as well as strong underlying credit risk analysis and management skills. Proven management and leadership experience - preferably developing and mentoring juniors - and excellent communication and presentation skills are imperative, along with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
