Our client is a leading private equity firm with a rapidly growing AUM, looking to hire an Associate within their Gateway Strategy team. This role is ideal for a finance professional seeking to further their career in private equity with one of Australia’s leading financial sponsors.
Gateway is our client’s latest investment offering. The strategy provides investors with exposure to top-tier global private equity investments and is predominantly focused on co-investments alongside leading global PE firms. You will play a key role in all elements of the deal process, including origination, diligence, and execution, as well as building relationships with the strategy’s global PE partners and investors. Key Responsibilities will include:
• Managing the overall transaction processes, including leading due diligence activities & execution
• Evaluating investment opportunities through detailed financial analysis
• Building & maintaining collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders which will include preparation of investment committee papers & investor reporting materials.
The successful candidate will likely bring:
• 2 ~ 5+ years’ experience in some combination of M&A, consulting and/or investing with demonstrable interest in private equity investing
• Superior financial, analytical & commercial acumen with strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
• Self-starter who enjoys new challenges & thrives in a dynamic environment.
